How can I make a test drive appointment?
- Test drives are available at our office, subject to availability.Â
- For outstation customers, we strongly recommend paying a booking deposit and submitting your loan application in advance. This allows us to reserve the vehicle for you for up to one week in case other customers intend to buy this car.Â
If I cancel my car booking, is my booking fee refundable?
Yes, your booking fee will be refunded if you decide to cancel the booking with us. T&C Applied.
What are the steps and documents to apply for a used car loan?
- To apply for a used car loan, individuals need to provide a copy of their IC, three months of payslips, and three months of bank statements. (6 months of payslips and bank statements are required for those with variable income, such as OT and commission).
- Companies should submit a full set of SSM, Form 9, 24, and 49, the director’s IC, and 6 months of company bank statements. Please meet with a sales advisor to discuss options and submit these documents for loan processing.
How is the monthly installment calculated?
- The monthly installment for a used car is determined by the loan amount, interest rate, loan term, and any down payment made.Â
- Our sales advisor will provide a detailed calculation and installment amount after gathering some basic information from you during the meet-up.
What are the warranty plans offered by iMotor?
- We offer a 30-day in-house warranty to ensure comprehensive coverage for your car.Â
- We also partner with third-party providers to offer a variety of extended warranty plans. These optional service contracts can be purchased separately from the vehicle price.Â
- Our sales advisors will guide you through the options to find the perfect plan for your needs and peace of mind.
How can I know my car’s value?

How much do I have to pay? Are there any hidden fees involved to value my car?
There’s no hidden or handling fee charged to inspect and value your car.
What documents do I need to prepare to sell my car to iMotor?
- Individual Private: Prepare your IC, Original car registration card, AP copy (for recon), and bring along your spare key.
- Company Private or Commercial: SSM full set, Company Resolution, Director’s IC.
Do I need to go to JPJ for Transfer of Ownership?
- Malaysians, My-PR holders, and company directors can transfer vehicle ownership through eAuto at our office without a Puspakom B5 inspection.
- Foreigners are required to visit JPJ for the Transfer of Ownership, provided the vehicle has passed the Puspakom B5 inspection.
Can I sell a car on behalf of the owner of the vehicle?
You may send the car for inspection on behalf of the registered owner. However, the registered owner or company director must be present in person for the ownership transfer (thumbprint verification).
How long do I have to wait for the payment from iMotor after handing over my vehicle?
6-10 working days, subject to full documentation, including retrieving of the settlement letter from the bank.
